Dr. Frank Sterner Appointed President of Lohmann Animal Health International
Sterner will be responsible for all business aspects at the Winslow, Maine headquarters
WINSLOW, Maine (April 28, 2009) — Lohmann Animal Health International CEO Dave Zacek has announced the appointment of Dr. Frank Sterner as President of the company. 
In his new role, Sterner will be in charge of the day-to-day operations of Lohmann Animal Health International's Winslow, Maine headquarters.
Sterner joined LAHI in February 2008 as Vice President of Biotechnology. Prior to joining Lohmann Animal Health, Sterner was Vice President Research and Development for a leading pharmaceutical company. He previously worked for Maine Biological Laboratories, Inc. and a top poultry integrator.
Sterner holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin in Veterinary Virology. He earned an MBA from Salisbury State University, a subsidiary of University of Maryland.
